I’m a self-proclaimed nerd with a passion for all things reading and writing.
When I’m not writing or attending author events, I work full time for a non-profit organization.
Although originally from Michigan, I spent most of my formative years in the Chicago area. I finally ended up in Watertown, South Dakota and stayed when I met the man I’ve been married to for 10 years. Together we have two beautiful (and funny) children.
Many people describe me as bold, brash, snarky and fun-loving (they’re all true). I’m known for my clumsiness and sarcasm. I’m an introvert but I make friends easily and really enjoy having meaningful conversations with people I meet.
I am an Executive Board Member for South Dakota Writes, a non-profit organization founded to support South Dakota writers on their journey.
