Julien Bradley never aspired to become an indie author, but she does love telling a good story. She used time between jobs to hone her documentation skill and do some free writing—the exercise resulted in 1,100 pages! Encouraged by her daughter Kimberlee, she pitched the story idea to Wise Ink Creative Publishing; the “draft,” after professional editing, became the first installment in the Bakken series. With over thirty-five years in the health care industry, Julien writes stories that reflect a culmination of real human experiences to create organic women’s fiction/chick-lit. Her books give an honest look into the lives of ordinary people, elevates the under-represented voice of woman over fifty, and breathe new life into the unexpected depth of the “normal” day-to-day. Born and raised in Minnesota, Julien lives with her husband atop the bluffs overlooking the beautiful Hiawatha River valley. She is a member of Midwest Fiction Writers and Romance Writers of America. Between Fracture Lines is the second in the Bakken series.
